Situated in the heart of the Four Valleys at an altitude of 1500 metres, the resort of Nendaz shares over 400 km of pistes with the neighbouring ski resort of Verbier. Chalet Mopani is a stunning contemporary chalet situated in a private and tranquil enclave in an exclusive area of Nendaz, yet just minutes away from the piste and the buzz of the resort.
Offering awe inspiring views over the Rhone Valley and beyond, Chalet Mopani is a beautiful and spacious self catered chalet which sleeps up to ten guests in five luxurious double ensuite bedrooms. Chalet Mopani offers an extremely high standard of accommodation throughout with stylish and state of the art fittings and fixtures, a stunning gallery area on the top floor, cosy underfloor heating and a roaring log fire in the living and dining area. Guests can enjoy the magical views of the mountains from the floor to ceiling windows and a spacious outdoor terrace opening out from the dining area. The chalet is located in the heart of Nendaz within a few minutes’ walk of the shops, bars, restaurants and Nendaz ski lift.
Area
Nendaz is situated in the mountains high above the Rhone Valley, near Sion, the capital of the Valais. Nestled in the heart of the 4 Valleys ski region at an altitude of circa 1500 metres, it provides everything a winter sports enthusiast could possibly ask for.
A friendly and modern holiday resort, Nendaz lies in the ski region neighbouring Verbier, Veysonnaz, La Tsoumaz and Thyon with 412 km of pistes and 92 transport facilities. Also belonging to the Nendaz valley community is Siviez, sometimes known as ‘Super Nendaz’, from where there are cable cars running to Mont Fort, the highest peak of the 4 Valleys ski area. There are also off-piste activities with 12 km of cross-country ski trails, 100 km of winter hiking trails and 40 km of snowshoe tracks.
Nendaz offered a richly varied activity programme for children and has been awarded the ‘Families Welcome’ seal of quality. There are child minding facilities for toddlers, playgrounds and walks suitable for push chairs, as well as sports and craft acitivities available.
