WHERE ARE WE?
Craggantoul is situated on the north side of Loch Tay approximately 7 miles east of Killin and 9 miles west of Kenmore and two miles west of Lawers village.
Craggantoul is situated off the A827. There are several routes you can take to reach us.
- From Stirling take the A84 signposted to Crianlarich. The road goes through Callander, Strathyre, Balquhidder Station and Lochearnhead. After Lochearnhead you will climb steadily through Glen Ogle and almost at the end of the descent you will see the sign to the right for Killin A827. Follow this road right through the village of Killin. As you leave the village, you will see the Golf Course on your right. Craggantoul is about 6 miles further on. The turning is marked on the right immediately before a narrow bridge. If you reach the village of Lawers then you have gone too far.
- From Glasgow you can either go via Stirling or alternatively follow the A82 up the side of Loch Lomond and on to Crianlarich. Turn right at the T junction in Crianlarich onto the A85 signposted Stirling. Continue on the A85 until you reach Lix Toll garage where you will see a sign for Killin A827. Follow this road right through the village of Killin. As you leave the village, you will see the Golf Course on your right. Craggantoul is about 6 miles further on. The turning is marked on the right immediately before a narrow bridge. If you reach the village of Lawers then you have gone too far.
- From Perth take the A9 to Ballinluig then follow the signs for Aberfeldy A827. Continue through Aberfeldy staying on the A827 to Kenmore, Fearnan and Lawers. Craggantoul is two miles after the Ben Lawers Hotel. The turning is sharp left immediately after a narrow bridge.
